With school back in session, you'll likely have more reasons to celebrate your child's achievements, whether they score an A in math or that game winning touchdown. NY1's Shazia Khan filed the following report. Landmarc

If celebrating means dining out, parents and their children might want to take a seat at Landmarc. The TriBeCa original, which now has a branch at the Time Warner Center, makes the grade with a child-friendly menu.
While it serves traditional kid favorites like chicken fingers with fries and pasta with tomato sauce, owner and executive chef, and father of two, Marc Murphy wanted to take it a few steps further by offering child-friendly portions of two adult dishes.
"If you can steer your child into getting a little lamb chop with some salad or a little filet mignon, it's just something a little different, and kind of introduce them to the adult menu," Murphy said.
And to top things off, every kid receives a free serving of cotton candy at the end of the meal.
As for adults, Zagat surveyors say they can expect "dependable French bistro fare, with a broad low priced wine list."
Landmarc receives a 20 for food and a 19 for both décor and service. Most items from the children's menu are $7. Adults can expect to spend about $48 for their meals.

Another restaurant catering to young diners is Blaue Gans in TriBeCa.
Zagat surveyors say diners can expect "delectable", "affordable" takes on Austro-German cooking.
The day NY1 visited, chef/owner Kurt Gutenbrunner invited his daughter's friends for lunch. The youngsters dined on dishes like fish and chips, sliders with fries, and mac and cheese. All entrees are served with seasonal vegetables.
"It has to be healthy and it has to be fun," he said. "They come in here and say, 'you know what, I accept the green beans because I get my fish and chips.'"
A rich selection of desserts including apple strudel and banana split offer a sweet finale.
Blaue Gans scores a 21 for food a 18 for décor and a 19 for what surveyors call polite, if somewhat distracted, service.
The average cost of a dish from the children's menu is $9. Adults can expect to spend about $47 for their meal.
