A pack of poodles was rescued from a home in Queens Thursday.

The ASPCA recovered more than 30 poodles ranging in age from two months to six years from a home in Yorkville.

The dogs' owners, an elderly couple, had a breeding business, but ended up with too many poodles when sales slumped.

The couple agreed to give them up after realizing they could not care for them all.

"The owners started out with only a few poodles and what happens when you don't get them spayed and neutered, is that they'll continue to multiply," said Allison Cardona, the director of disaster response for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

The owners are not facing any criminal charges and are keeping one poodle for themselves.

The dogs are all healthy but will receive medical treatment and behavioral training before they are put up for adoption.
