Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Donald Trump and Bebe Neuwirth were honored Tuesday as outstanding New Yorkers.
The New York Society of Association Executives presented the awards at its annual "We Love New York Day" in Midtown.
The mayor used his speech to push for the renovation of the Javits Center and increased tourism in the city.
However, he couldn't help poking fun at the other award-winning billionaire on the stage with him.
“First there's Donald Trump, already voted Outstanding New Yorker of 1990, and since then he has continued to burnish his reputation as the world’s sweetest boss,” said Bloomberg. “And then there's Broadway and TV star Bebe Neuwirth, who sings better than Trump, dances better than Trump, and is better looking than Trump."
Other past winners of the award include former Mayor David Dinkins and CNN's Larry King.
