Controversial Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakan made headlines in 1995 with the Million Man March, which was held in Washington D.C. on October 16t Farrakan called on black men from around the country to gather on the National Mall to speak out against the social and economic problems facing the African American community. NY1 was in D.C. for the rally, but back home New Yorkers weighed-in on the high-profile event.
