Bayard Rustin High School for Humanities in Chelsea will not accept new students in the fall after receiving a failing grade on its most recent report card.
The announcement was made by the Department of Education today.
The school received an F on its most recent city report card and had a 49 percent graduation rate last year.
The school's principal was reportedly forced to resign last year after a Regents exam cheating scandal.
The school is set to close by 2012.
