Presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama will be in the city on the seventh anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.

They're set to take part in a forum on service and civic engagement that marks the start of the two-day ServiceNation Summit.

It will be their first joint appearance after the conventions.

The group asked the candidates not to campaign on September 11.

Meanwhile, two of John McCain's campaign headquarters were evacuated Thursday after receiving threats.

Officials said threatening letters containing an unidentified white powder were mailed to the presumptive Republican nominee's campaign offices in Centennial, Colo., a Denver suburb, and Manchester, N.H.

Both offices were evacuated as HazMat teams worked to determined if the powder was harmful.

Manchester workers underwent medical examinations and 19 Denver workers were quarantined or sent to hospitals.

The letters were mailed from Denver, the site of next week's Democratic National Convention.

Officials believed it was a hoax sent by an inmate.

No injuries were reported Thursday.
