Families of September 11th victims gathered at Brooklyn's Wall of Remembrance Thursday night to pay tribute.

The memorial at Coney Island's KeySpan Park was originally created to remember Brooklyn firefighters who died that day. It has since grown to include police officers and Port Authority officers who were born, or worked, in Brooklyn.

"When you go to a memorial and you see a name it's anonymous. When you put the face to that name you have that personality. You have that edge. People are not going to forget that smile," said Joanne Barbara whose husband died in the attacks.

"August seems to roll around and the anxiety starts. It'll never be gone," said Janet Lane whose son died in the attacks.

There are plans to expand the Wall of Remembrance again to include all emergency first responders who gave their lives on September 11, 2001.
