"The Little Mermaid" will soon say goodbye to the Great White Way.
The musical based on the Disney film will close on August 30th. The show will have played 685 performances by then.
"The Little Mermaid" opened in January 2008 and was the number one selling new Broadway musical of that year.
A producer for the show says a national tour is planned for fall of next year.
