The NYPD is running another gun buyback program in Brooklyn – offering residents $200 for each weapon turned in.

The event will be held in conjunction with the Brooklyn district attorney's office at four churches in Williamsburg and Bushwick this weekend.

Officials say during the last two buybacks, more than 1,100 guns were taken off the borough's streets. But Police Commissioner Ray Kelly says there's still a lot more work to be done.

"This is a problem not only in New York, but in every major city in America," said Kelly. "Police officers encounter these types of weapons every day on the streets of our city."

Those who turn in weapons will be given debit cards in exchange.

The buyback will take place between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. this Saturday at:
